Can anyone download Kindle books?

You must own a Kindle - purchased from Amazon - to download and read Kindle books.

I bought eBooks previously from your RomanticSpankings.com site. If I buy a Kindle, can I convert those?

Unfortunately, no.  ABCD Webmasters/Blushing Books does not sell the Kindle content directly.  This is sold exclusively by Amazon and we would have no way of swapping Kindle content for your older eBooks or giving you credit.

What's the advantage of having/owning/using a Kindle over other reading options?

The Kindle - right out of the box - holds approximately 200 books.  With the addition of a low cost memory card, it will hold hundreds more.  This means that you can - on a device smaller and lighter than the average paperback - travel with hundreds of your favorite titles, and read what you want at the touch of a button.

While the Kindle facilitates the discreet reading of erotic content ( a nice choice for those of us with children or grandchildren around!), its real beauty comes in the fact that at the touch of a button you can access thousands of titles and have a new book in seconds.  Currently, there are more than 100,000 books available for the Kindle, including most best sellers - and the list grows every day.  In addition, Kindle owners get free instant access to Wikipedia as well as daily updates of the web's most popular blogs. 

The downloads are provided wirelessly, most everywhere there's a cell phone signal.  You don't have to pay extra for a monthly access fee - it's included!

And if you lose your Kindle, all of your books are available to be downloaded again from "Your Kindle Shelf" on Amazon.

Are you going to stop offering books in other formats?

No!  We have no plans to discontinue any of other sites.  You'll still be able to order eBooks for instant download from RomanticSpankings.com, books in print from SpankBooks.com as well as join our membership sites at Bethany's Woodshed and Spanking Romance.  However, we feel so strongly that the Kindle is an amazing invention that beginning immediately, we plan to release all of "completed" content simultaneously to Kindle, SpankBooks and RomanticSpankings.

What about outside of the United States?  Does a Kindle work?  Can i buy one?

At this time, Kindles cannot be purchased by anyone who does not have a US address. though a search of the Internet did find some recommended workarounds such as here.   However, if you travel outside of the US, your Kindle will work just fine for reading, as the books are stored on the device - not on the web. 

And, outside of the US, you can buy content for a US Kindle, as long as you have access to a computer and a USB cable.   This is also the solution that must be used by some in very rural areas of the US where there is not a Sprint / Whispernet signal.

What if I have problems with my order?

All orders of Kindle reading devices and Kindle content are handled through Amazon.  Any customer service issues need to be handled through them.
